2009 Tanzania Mission Trip

The team has 11 folks going.  2 men and 9 females.  We have plane tickets that will change the normal schedule.  We will be flying from Greenville to Washington, DC and then to London where we have a 10 hour layover.  From London we fly to Nairbo and onto Arusha, Tanzania.  Once we arrive in Arusha we will only have a couple of hours before we have to start traveling by truck for 8 hours to Singida, Tanzania.

The plane tickets came in under budget but the truck with driver rentals are slightly over budget but we are still coming in under the original budget by several hundred dollars per person.  The current estimate per person cost of the trip is just under $3200.

We have a lot of great fundraisers currently underway and hope you can find one you feel comfortable with. 

Next in our planning stage will be the VBS programs for the pre-school and orphanage.  We are also honing up our singing skills and learning some basic Swahili for the trip.
